Hello,
I've had a 55GB SSD as my flight sim drive, and I'm all out of room. I can't decide whether I want to replace both my system drive and FS drive with three 1TB drives (two for a RAID 0 and one reserved for backup), or a >120GB SSD as a boot/FSX drive, with a second standard 1TB disk for data storage. I'd like to hear thoughts/opinions from you guys. Perhaps a better configuration I haven't considered? Price cap for replacement drives will be around $300 US.
Thanks in advance.

Take a look at Newegg.com (if you already haven't) ....they have lots of good deals. Not sure how much more space you need/want for the FS drive...you could use your existing SSD as the system drive, buy a 64GB SSD for FSX, and then still have $200+ to figure out a storage solution.

Michael,
I have 64GB SSD and it is getting full. I would go for 128GB SSD at least.

Thanks for responding gentlemen.
I poked around NewEgg and here's what I came up with:
Corsair 128GB SATA III Solid-State http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233226
Western Digital 1TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136533
These should last me a good long time. Corsair's durable all around, and my co-worker highly recommends Western Digital drives.

Randy, how much of free space left after Windows and FSX installation?
