Hello all,
This past weekend, when flying my CRJ planes, I ran into a problem where after FSX loaded, the plane was in the middle of the runway rather than at the termainal I chose. I rebooted my machine, thinking that might help, but I haven't tested it yet to confirm if it corrected the problem. I've never had this happen before so if I can't figure it out, I might consider doing a system restore to an earlier date. Any ideas??

you may have ended your last flight in the middle of the runway - and your settings may be set to resume/load wherever you last exited FSX. That's about all I can think of

Before you you press fly now change your current location to the gate. If you're using the Flight Planner it may change your starting point to the Active Runway

Also, If you do consecutive flights when you load the next flight plan FS9/X will ask you if you want it to move your plane to the location on the flight plan. If your taking off again, click no.
Have a great one!

I'll check on your ideas when I get home this evening. The odd thing about this is that it won't even put me at the end of the runway, it will sometimes put me in the middle of the runway or on some taxi way. I connected to VATSIM this past weekend and got chewed out by a controller for not getting clearance, so I had to explain to him that this is where FSX dumped me. I had selected a terminal, but....
Thanks for the feedback,
Jeremy

if it puts you there again - before you log in to VATSIM, slew yourself over to the parking spot you want and then sign on.
