I saw that flying the 757-200 requires stage 3, and I found that a bit odd.
2 months ago I flew on a Delta 757 from Atlanta to Cancun, but the route is regularly operated on a MD-88.
I guess that delta uses the 757 on long routes, so it's comparable to the 767 on stage 3, but still.

Denni, its because of the size of the 757. That and the fact that RW, it shares a single type rating with the 767.

Don't take routes that it flies to mean much. DL flies 757s to RDU. A whopping 58 minute flight from Atlanta. They also fly the '57 to BSB which is an 8hr flight. It's a very flexible aircraft.

What type of equipment is on what route is the realm of airline marlketing and bean-counters...funny bunch of otters and ferrets them.
When you figure them out-let us know. Oh, throw in crew schedule builders too.

Do any of you know if the cs757 differs much from the freeware in the downloads section? I was thinking of taking the exam for the 757 rating and wanted to know if they have the same systems along with other things, so I can be prepared for the exam. Thanks in advance!

Felipe. the fleet 75 is a good place to start learning on the aircraft. but in termes of system modling the CS is better. dont get me wrong our fleet one is very good. but also a drag to since panel mods are impossible. i tried. althoue you do need it for the 757 exam, as the CS 757 is not allowed in the flight test.

thats a freemium 757. another good place to start. the aircraft itself is free comes with limited system modling, and no other varients aor livers. but expanding it for a price per livery. actually a good deal.
if you want a payware 757 i recommend the 757 captain from justflight. but only if you have a PC that can run it. otherwise the QW 757 is a community favorite.

If you're flying with FS9, another option would be the PSS 757 ( http://www.justflight.com/product/757-professional-download )
You can get the download for around $30, and it's a good airplane.
The CS757 is $44 and the QW757 is around $45.
Just a thought.

For FS9 I think the PSS is the best choice.
I know that many air lines that operate the 75 and 76, share same rating etc.
Why in DVA they are separated ?

Thanks to everyone who replied although I may have been unclear. to clarify, I ALREADY have the cs 757 and wanted to know if it was similar to the one offered in the fleet library. And as for what Timothy said, the cs757 is not allowed on the test flight, but is it allowed on every other flight?

The fleet one does not have a VC. As for regular flights, yes, it's allowed.
