For my new pc which I'm finally about ready to buy, which of these three(if any) would be the ideal for me, I want to keep with FS9 with maybe one day soon going over to FSX, what I'd like is within the PMDG 747/LDS767 virtual cockpits and around 30 add on airports plus ultimate terrain to be able to achieve consistant FPS of 30+ on the ground and as smooth as possible in the air.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated or pointers to another site, the site would have to be UK based

Even with the cheapest one, you're overpaying. You can get a good FS PC for around £630 (converted from $1,000 USD).

I found a list of alternative sites: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=1923140

thank you captain, you do wonder if companies hike up the prices for us FS pilots, still to have a nice working 767 cockpit for less than £1000 is not to be sneered at

Just remembered that Amazon also has computer parts. I'm sure that if you got all the parts and built it yourself, it would still be much cheaper.

Unfortunatly my skills dont stretch to building pcs so I will have to pay for the complete package which I should have done ages ago, it is strong enough to handle the LD767 but struggles when the PMDG 74 comes on screen, and seeing as this is my main pastime I really should invest in improvements to make it more enjoyable, my biggest fear is outlaying £1000 and ending up disappointed

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/formquote-save/

I'm quite an untrained eye, but what would those specs give me regards FS9/FSX I am a stickler for realism, I almost want a freeflow flight with many add-ons(eventually all the available airfields that Delta 767/KLM 747/777 aircraft fly to) also ultimate terrain as such.

I'm not overly concerned regarding multiple monitors as I feel that one large screen gives a great Virtual Cockpit view.

Once again thanks in advance for your input and all advice is greatly appreciated

Yeah building a pc would be your best bet price wise. It isn't very difficult anymore. Everything is pretty much plug and play. You usually can't beat newegg. http://www.newegg.com

yeah it would appear that for FSX the CPU overclock is the key, I've seen on youtube videos of 4.5 GHZ and it is like real lfe motion, I think that is what I want

The Level D 767 VC has very little, if any, impact on frame rate. The entire package is actually the most frame-friendly of any detailed aircraft. The detail of terrain and scenery will be your main issue. Combined with certain other aircraft addons, this can slow your frame rate to a "slide show".
