I don't have it but I use Gigabyte motherboards and have always been happy. They make good quality products at a good price.

No comparison between a 660TI and a 460. Its been shown that the 660TI can out perform the GTX 580. Im partial towards EVGA have had good luck with their products and support when needed.

If I were you, I'd go with a MSI Twin Frozr 4. Its faster and cooler than the others. Gigabyte's Windforce model requires more power if that is anythig to you.

I've been reading on multiple forums they are having major problems with many of the 670 and 660i cards. Asus has already stopped production of their GTX 670 CU2 board because of a high number of RMA's. This is why with some hesitation I just bought an XFX 7870.

Anyone reading the forums have a 660ti or GTX 670? What kind of performance are you getting and have you had any problems with the new drivers? I cancelled my 7870 order on Newegg and I am still debating what to buy. Besides FSX I am looking for something I can use for BF3 @ 1920 x 1080 Ultra settings.

Guys, just be aware that FSX and earlier versions will use CPUs more than Vid Cards. You don`t need to waste a lot of money in Vid Cards but yes to CPUs.
But it does look good your choice.

Good point Thiago. Especially with bunch of add ons my new 660 Ti busy on 40% and CPU easily hit 100% and stay there. Now I need upgrade CPU, fan, motheboard and memory LOL
Biggest consumers of CPU power are REX (weather) and UT2 (AI traffic)

Yeah, I knew this when I had Intel i5 and switched to i7. Whatta difference.

Absolutely. I ordered an Asus 660ti and it should be here on Friday. Paired with my 3770K @ 4.2 Ghz I think it will be able to keep up with both FSX and BF3.

I overclocked my 3770K to a conservative 4.1 GHz and I'm running the 660 Ti at stock with the 304.87 drivers and Nvidia Inspector. Set AA to 8xSQ(Combined 2x2 SS + 2x MS) and limiting frames to 30. My sliders are at 75% with the level of detail radius at large and running AS2012 with the PMDG 737NGX it is smooth as silk. I am very happy with this card but it takes much more tweaking than it did with my ATI card. The one thing I haven't been able to do is use more than 917 MB of my 2GB VRAM on the GPU. To get my usage that high I had to bump my AA settings up to AA_MODE_METHOD_SUPER VCAA_64x_V12 but there were some stutters despite the fact that it looked great. With my curreny 8xSQ setting the most VRAM I am using is 576 MB. I only mention all of this because some people might be interested in purchasing the 3GB version but in my opinion this isn't worth it for FSX because it doesn't use much video memory at all.
