As you can see in this picture, some of the areas in the cockpit are blurry (such as the flap limit placard and the GS and wind readouts) while other areas are clear. It is happening on all cockpit panels (overhead, pedestal, FMC, etc.) but only in the cockpit; external views are clear. I have just installed this on a new laptop so I'm not quite sure what is up. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe your aspect ratio? That panel is not meant to be stretched 16:9. I've had to "square" some things up before to eliminate some blurries before.

This is one of the reasons I've pretty much hangered my PMDG 747 until v2 is released. The MD-11 is definitely an update over the current 747. By the time the 777 and 747v2 come out, I'll be having a hard time deciding what to fly for any given long haul.

Also for me that is what prevents me from staying with the 747 program, the PMDG is beautiful however its very hungry on my pc resources and causes a lot of system crashes, I love to fly in the virtual cockpit and refuse to fly any other way, until such time as I finally get my stronger pc I find that the 767 program satisfies my long haul needs, is a shame though as I always get a buzz when I'm going to command the queen

I tried changing between windowed and VC mode, which for me are drastically different sizes, as well as dragging the corners. The blurriness isn't anything critical, just thoroughly annoying.

Nicholas, from your screenshot, the way that I have always fixed that is by reshaping the window to more of a 4:3 aspect ratio, but like Michael said you may need to go up on the overall screen resolution as well. I'd be curious to see if you still get blurries running 1280x1024 full screen.

When I bought my newest laptop that is the first thing I did was make sure all drivers were up to date. My graphics card wasn't, but a new set of drivers were released a day or two before I got my laptop delivered.
