I searched the cooler but didn't find anything with what I tried searching under:

When I open FSX, it starts on the missions menu. When I click on "free flight" to setup a DVA flight, the fsx screen on the monitor gets glitchy, then crashes, saying a fatal error occured, blah blah. Has anybody else had this problem?

I've already done the .dll file addition and what-not. The other night it worked fine, then messed up, then worked again...now it's messed up yet again. This program is gonna be the death of me!!!

btw, I'm running windows 7, 64-bit. Thank you!!!

That's happened to me a couple of times - what I found fixed it is just to fly now from wherever you flight sim shut you down after your last flight - once the flight starts, end the flight then go in an adjust your flight info. Prob a technical answer to your problem - but that's what I did, and whenever that happens, it seems to fix itself with this.

Andrew, when fsx would pull up, it was in the lessons menu, so I just clicked on one and loaded it. Then after I was in, I exited out and went back to the main menu, and sure enough it worked like a charm. So simple but I just figured that it'd never be that easy so didn't try it until last night...lol

I've said it before, but seriously....I have never come across such an unstable and quirky piece of software as FSX is....ridiculous!

I think has to do with Windows upgrades or the FSCUIP that saved incorrect. smile
