This is baffling me. I have tried two separate flights, both from ATL. Same results each time. Everything works great during setup, takeoff, cruise. Half way into descent, FS9 pops up, and says it's stopped working. It doesn't show me any type of crash report, and then FS9 just restarts.
I'm running Windows7 x64
i7 CPU 860@ 2.80 GHz
6GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT220

Try looking at the Event Viewer in the Control panel/system and security. This may show what is halting..

Thanks for the suggestion Don. I went into the reports area, and it says the problem is coming from FS9/MODULES/ FE.DLL
Do you understand what this is telling me? Thanks for any, and all assistance.

Doing some GOOGLE search on your error, It might be a scenery or Aircraft problem.. What did you install before the problem started?

I did some searching, and it would seem that it could be scenery related, or AI aircraft related from what I read.

Try forcing your environment to summer, fly the same route and see if this persists. I had the same problem and it was a scenery conflict that FS was failing on when flying in the winter season. I know this wouldn't fully resolve your problem if it were to work but it would at least give you a work around.
